Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow at Broome Civic Centre

Just as the curtains close on the funniest month of the year in Melbourne, the Festival’s most loved and laughed at comedians will pack their bags and hit the road for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, home-delivering hot and tasty comedic treats to the Broome Civic Centre on Wednesday 22 May.

Featuring fantastic funny makers from Australia and beyond, the Roadshow travels across 88 Australian towns, presenting 99 performances of sketch, stand-up, satire, silliness and song across 11 weeks.

Previous Roadshow casts have introduced audiences to the likes of Celia PacquolaLuke McGgregorDave HughesPeter HellierNazeem HussainThe Pajama Men (USA), Wil Sylvince (USA), Hannah Gadsby and many more big names you will recognize from radio and the telly.

This year’s line-up includes Aaron Chen, Any Saunders, Ben Knight, Bev Killick, Bob Franklin, Brennan Reece (UK), Cal Wilson, Dane Simpson, Daniel Connell, Dave Callan, Eleanor Tiernan (IRL), Georgie Carroll, Ivan Aristeguieta, John Hastings (CAN), Lauren Pattison (UK), Matt Okine, Nick Cody, Rahul Subramanian (IN), Rhys Nicholson,  Sean Choolburra, Steph Tisdell and stacks more. 

For 20 years this roving tour-de-comedy has visited towns and cities around Australia, from Broome to Ballarat, Tasmania to the Territories with 2019 being no exception; there’s nowhere our brilliant entertainers fear to tread.

The journey doesn’t end there either, with the Roadshow taking its talent abroad with International tour dates across Hong Kong, Singapore, India and Malaysia to follow.
