Youth Week 2019

An exciting program of events for young people kicks off in Broome on 11 April to coincide with WA Youth Week.

Broome Youth Week 2019 activities run from 11-20 April and celebrate the contribution young people are making in our community.

The Shire is working with a range of agencies to create a program of events for young people that kicks off with the fun Youth Colour Challenge on Thursday 11 April at Haynes Oval from 2.30-5.30pm, presented by the Shire of Broome and Headspace Youth Advisory Councils.

Broome Shire President, Harold Tracey, says Broome Youth Week is an opportunity to bring our young people together and to highlight all the positive contributions they’re making in our community.

The Shire of Broome employs a full-time Youth and Community Development Officer, with funding support from Rio Tinto, and for the full program of Youth Week events head to the link below.
