Club Development

The Shire of Broome’s Club Development Officer supports sport and recreation club volunteers through communication, education and acknowledgement. The aim, through the Club Development Framework is to create a collaborative approach to club development by connecting State Sporting Associations, Regional Sport Associations, local government and community organisations to provide leadership, education and training.

The state-wide Club Development Officers' Scheme is an initiative of the WA Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and is implemented in partnership with a number of local government authorities, including the Shire of Broome.

The Shire of Broome Survey Report 2018 provides the latest data on Broome’s sporting clubs and can be found here
