Broome Town Site Draft Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Plan

The Shire of Broome has released for public comment the draft Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP).

The purpose of the CHRMAP is to systematically identify coastal inundation and erosion hazards across the Broome townsite, and put in place controls to manage and mitigate the risk in association with the community and stakeholders.

A copy of the draft CHRMAP is available for review at the Shire of Broome Administration Office and will be open for inspection during office hours. A copy of the draft CHRMAP is also available on the Shire’s CHRMAP webpage at the link below.

Submissions on the draft CHRMAP can be addressed to the Shire of Broome and mailed to PO Box 44, Broome WA 6725; emailed to chrmap@broome.wa.gov.au or handed in to the Administration Office on Weld Street.

Submissions must be received by 4pm on 12 June 2017.
