Broome Speedway Noise Management Plan Public Consultation
Released 20 March 2017
The Shire of Broome is currently seeking public comment regarding the received Broome Speedway Noise Management Plan (NMP) that has been prepared by the Broome Speedway.
The Broome Speedway NMP is required to be implemented as the activities held at the Broome Speedway do not comply with the permitted noise levels, as outlined in the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997. The Broome Speedway may operate in exceedance of the permitted levels, provided they operate in line with an approved Noise Management Plan. Copies of the draft NMP can be found at the Shire of Broome administration building, on the Shire of Broome and Broome Speedway websites.
All submissions must be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and are to be received by the Shire of Broome before 4pm on 17 April 2017 as follows;
- Hand delivered to the Shire of Broome, Cnr of Weld and Haas St; or
- Posted: Shire of Broome. PO Box 44 Broome WA 6725
