Free e-waste recycling in July

Released 7 July 2017

The Broome Waste Management Facility is a free e-waste Drop Zone this month.

Drop off your old TVs, computers and computer equipment up to 28 July and they will be sent away for recycling.

Drop Zone is a government-approved recycling program of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme and provides a free recycling service for householders and small business to dispose of unwanted TVs, computers and computer products such as printers, keyboards and mice regardless of their age or brand.

All you need to do with your product is “drop it off" at the designated area at the Broome Waste Management Facility on Buckleys Rd during opening hours.

Please note the Drop Zone does not accept items such as DVD players, video recorders, radios, game consoles and appliances. Mobile phones and printer cartridges can be deposited at the Shire of Broome Administration.
