The Shire of Broome is a proud supporter of our many community events and organisations, and recognises their significant contribution to the life of our town.

The new Shire of Broome Community Storage Facility was built to provide storage for Broome's not-for-profit community groups and organisations at a subsidised cost.

The facility is located behind the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre off Cable Beach Rd East, and was built at a cost of $340,000 including a generous contribution of $250,000 from the WA Government through LotteryWest.

Current tenants include the Shinju Matsuri Festival, Broome Rotary (Dragon Boat Regatta) and Theatre Kimberley.

A further 12 storage bays are now available to community organisations and events, with occupancy from August 2017. Those interested should fill out an Expression of Interest form at the link below and lodge it with the Shire of Broome by 17 July 2017.
