The Community Facilitation Team consists of four staff members and a supervisor who are responsible for the following:

- Cleaning of all external Shire toilets (e.g Town Beach, Cable Beach & Chinatown)
- Emptying of Street Bins.
-Gathering of bags of litter collected by volunteers.
-General clean up around town.
-Graffiti removal from Shire buildings

The Community Facilitation Team operates every day of the year, including Christmas Day and Public Holidays.

The Shire of Broome and CDEP jointly fund the program. Council funds equipment to the value of $70,000 for the team.

Members of the Community Facilitating Team are employed through Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation.
