✅Shire Election Voting has Begun

Early in-person voting for the 2023 Shire Council Election has begun and is being held between 9am and 4pm weekdays until October 20 at the Shire Admin Building at 27 Weld Street. Alternatively, you can vote on election day on Saturday, October 21, from 8am to 6pm.

Litter Control

Litter includes any articles or materials abandoned or unwanted by the owner. A person found depositing litter on land or in any waters commits an offence.

The driver of any vehicle transporting an unsecured load that is not contained, fastened or covered may be prosecuted. Maximum fines of up to $1000 may apply.

Litter infringements issued by the Shire of Broome are payable by post or at the Shire office.
