KidSport

Kidsport enables Western Australian children to participate in community sport and recreation, no matter their financial circumstances. Eligible youth aged 5–18 years can apply for a maximum of $300 per child each financial year to contribute towards club fees. The fees will go directly to the registered KidSport clubs through the Shire of Broome.

KidSport is a partnership between the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the Shire of Broome.

Individual Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be aged between 5 and 18 years.
  • Applicants must have a Health Care Card or a Pension Concession Card.
  • Applicant’s primary place of residence must be in the local government to which they are applying.
