LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
The Shire of Broome is seeking expressions of interest from community members to be appointed to the Local Emergency Management Committee.
The Local Emergency Management Committee provides advice to Council on the development, implementation, review and evaluation of the Emergency Management Arrangements to ensure Council meets its obligations under Emergency Management legislation.
Nominations are sought for the following representatives:
1 x Community Representative – Ardyaloon
1 x Community Representative – Beagle Bay
1 x Community Representative – Bidyadanga
1 x Community Representative – Djarindjin
1 x Community Representative – Lombadina
1 x Community Representative – Coconut Well
The role of community members on the Committee is to provide input and local representation on issues that affect their community. These positions are voluntary and unpaid.
