The Shire of Broome is working with the community to guide the review of the Local Planning Strategy and preparing Local Planning Scheme 7.

The process will provide a wonderful chance for residents to have a say in the future of the place they live and work.

As part of the process, the Shire will be holding four workshops early next month, which are open to the public.

  • Tourism, Accommodation & Short Stay Accommodation – Wednesday August 5 at 3:30pm at the Broome Civic Centre.
  • Environment and Heritage – Wednesday August 5 at 5:30pm at the Broome Civic Centre.
  • Home Based Business and Working from Home – Thursday August 6 at 3:30pm at the Broome Civic Centre.
  • Industry and Commercial Development – Thursday August 6 at 5:30pm at the Broome Civic Centre.

Due to the health restrictions which are currently in place, registration is essential.  Please click here to register for the session/s that most suit you.

We understand that not everyone will be available to attend the day or time that best suits their interests, so we welcome you to attend a discussion that may be a bit different from your area of interest, and we will ensure you can still share that feedback.

You are also welcome to attend multiple sessions if you would like to.
