The BRAC 1 Youth Bike Precinct is being developed on vacant land off Frederick Street between Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre and the Boulevard shopping centre.
The creation of this natural themed bike park in an urban setting and is being undertaken in stages as funding becomes available. Construction of the Broome Pump Track was completed as part of stage 1A.
The track was built thanks to an $85,000 grant from the WA Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the remainder of the $220,000 construction cost funded by the Shire of Broome.
