The Shire of Broome is progressing with long-awaited plans for a new boating facility, with a consultation period with the community to begin today.
The Broome Boating Facility project has been in the pipeline for many years and is considered essential in ensuring the safety of residents and tourists taking to local waters.
The Shire of Broome is asking residents to have their say on the proposal with a community survey open from March 18 to April 16.
