The Sanctuary Village Holiday Park and Key Worker Accommodation Village is a key priority for the Shire of Broome.
The project involves developing Lot 501 (formerly Lot 3130), Sanctuary Road into a Caravan Park. The park will encompass tourist camping, cabins and caravan sites, as well as relocatable residential dwellings for key workers.
The fully flexible site and relocatable home design will allow the purpose of the accommodation to be altered over time, dependent on local demand and supply.

The project requires a minimum of 91 park homes intended as affordable housing for key workers, which are in critical short supply.
It has received $7.68 million in grant funding from the State Government.
The Shire is looking for a private operator to develop and operate the park on a long term lease.
