'Ghosts of Yilagun' Book Launch
Celebrating the official launch of Kim Courtenay's latest book "Ghosts of Yilagun".
An eclectic collection of fishing tales and anecdotes from a well-known Broome local.
Copies will be available for purchase from the author.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Session
Join Leah Sevens, McGrath Cancer Care Nurse, and Michelle Wilson from Cancer Council WA, for a fun and informative session at the Broome Town Library.
They will be chatting all things breast health, from screening and early detection to prevention/lifestyle factors and treatment. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn, laugh and get the facts that could save lives. P.S. Blokes are welcome to attend- 10% of all breast cancer cases are in males.

Broome Public Library is partnering with the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) in a community engagement initiative to raise awareness about changes to aged care. These changes – known as the aged care reforms – will improve aged care in Australia now and into the future.
Visit the aged care information hub located in Broome Public Library for the next few months to learn about aged care.
