Old Broome Road and shared path is now open in both directions to traffic, pedestrians and cyclists. Some minor finishing works will continue with temporary traffic management in place as required.

Library membership is free to all residents of Broome. To be a member you will need to show photo ID along with documentary proof of your name, current residential address and provide an alternative contact address. Suitable documents for residential address verification include:
Visitors and temporary residents wishing to join the library will be asked to supply photo ID and credit card details and to sign a credit card authorisation form.
Or if you are a current member of another WA Public Library, register at the front desk to join Broome Public Library using your existing library card.
Please bring your Library card when borrowing or renewing items. You can borrow six items at a time. This can be a combination of books, magazines, CDs or DVDs.
There is a maximum of three DVDs per borrower at any one time.
All items can be borrowed for two weeks at a time with a maximum of three renewals providing another patron has not requested them.

E-Resource loans do not count towards any physical item loan limits on your membership.
Library members are responsible for all items borrowed on their card. Please report lost or stolen cards immediately. There is a replacement fee for damaged or lost cards.
