Stinger Relief Stands

The Shire of Broome, in partnership with the Lions Club, have provided five stinger relief stands positioned at various beach locations around the town site. The stands contain vinegar for immediate treatment following a marine sting, first aid information and general information regarding Irukandji Jellyfish.

Stinger Relief stand locations:

  1. Town Beach boat ramp, attached to Lions Club tide information sign.
  2. Entrance Point - Attached to Lions Club sign, Boat Ramp 1.
  3. Gantheaume Point on ramp.
  4. Cable Beach - Surf Club Stairway.
  5. Cable Beach - Vehicle Access Ramp.

 Look out for these stands next time you visit a Broome Beach.
