Roadworks to improve safety and traffic flow and repair aging infrastructure are underway on a section of Old Broome Road until late July. Old Broome Road is currently fully closed to all traffic between Sandpiper Avenue and Short Street.

This Shire’s Water Park is located at the Town Beach Playground; on the southern end of Robinson Street, across from Pioneer Park.
Designed to be accessible to all children, the water playground encourages inclusive active play and consists of a misty twisty, whale tail sprayer, sneaky soakers and a froggy-o sprayer.
Mondays: 8.30am – 5pm
Tuesdays: Closed
Wednesdays: 8.30am – 5pm
Thursdays: 8.30am – 5pm
Fridays: 8.30am – 5pm
Saturdays: 8.30am – 5pm
Sundays: 8.30am – 5pm
All children using the Water Park need to wear swimwear, and (if applicable) nappies.
