NOTICE OF E-MEETING
The Shire of Broome advises that an Ordinary Meeting of Council is scheduled to be held:
Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 5pm
This meeting has been convened as an e-Meeting and will not be open to the public.
Members of the public can submit a question for Public Question Time by e- mailing darren.kennedy@broome.wa.gov.au before 2pm on the day of the meeting.
Amendments to the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996 became effective on Thursday, 26 March 2020. The amendments provide for Local Governments to convene Council and committee meetings with all participants remotely in attendance by instantaneous communications.
The changes ensure that Council decision making can continue whilst the Public Health Emergency declaration remains in place.
The unconfirmed Minutes of the meeting will be available on the Shire website after the meeting.
