All Abilities Sports Day 2026

Following a fantastic event in 2025, the All Abilities Sports Day returns in 2026 — bringing another vibrant day of inclusive sport and community connection to the Broome Recreation & Aquatic Centre.

Participants will have the opportunity to get active and try basketball, football, netball and tennis in a fun, supportive and accessible environment. With experienced facilitators leading the sessions, the focus is on building confidence, developing skills and, most importantly, enjoying the social and physical benefits of sport.

The day is designed to encourage participation at every level — whether it’s trying a sport for the first time, strengthening coordination and teamwork, or simply having fun in an inclusive setting.

Community members living with disability are warmly invited to join us from 1pm to 2pm to trial a sport and connect with local providers and clubs.

The 2026 event is proudly delivered in collaboration with Football Futures and Inclusion Solutions, with WA All Abilities Football, Basketball WA and Tennis West facilitating activities on the day.

Local service providers including KAMS and Garnduwa will also be on site supporting participants and providing fruit, water and icy poles.

To round out the day, local sporting clubs who are unable to attend during school hours are warmly invited to join us for a sundowner and networking session at the Surf Club from 5:30pm.
