A Smarter Way to Pay Shire of Broome rates

Due to the financial impact of the COVID-19 on residents, the Shire of Broome will not be imposing any penalty interest on overdue rates from March 26, 2020. 

We are also offering payment plans using the Smarter Way to Pay initiative. This system aims to ease the burden that a lump sum or limited instalment payment program can cause.

Any ratepayer can sign up to A Smarter Way to Pay at any time. 

Give the Shire a call and the Rates team will customise a payment package specifically for your budget and review your plan every year, ensuring you never fall behind.

This payment plan also provides residents with the opportunity to tailor payments to a time that suits them – you can sign up for fortnightly direct debits in time with your pay cycle and never worry about missing the due date.

This is by far the most cost-effective option for those looking to find a more budget-friendly payment system.
