Arts and Culture Strategy - Community Workshops

The Shire of Broome has engaged element to develop an Arts and Culture Strategy and Action Plan, which will provide a framework for the Shire’s arts and cultural activity in the next five years. 

We want your input and are holding three community engagement sessions soon, as follows:

Shire of Broome Arts and Culture Strategy: Community Workshop

  • Tuesday 24 May
  • 5.30 – 7.00pm
  • Shire of Broome Committee Room, Weld Street

The Shire of Broome has engaged element to develop an Arts and Culture Strategy and Action Plan, which will provide a framework for the Shire’s arts and cultural activity in the next five years.

As part of the development of the Arts and Culture Strategy, we are consulting with the Shire of Broome community to find out your vision for arts, culture and heritage in the Shire. We are eager to explore your thoughts, experiences, and ideas during an in-depth workshop. 

RSVPs are recommended as workshop spaces are limited. Please share within your networks. We hope you can make it. If you can’t, there will be a number of other opportunities to engage with us, so please get in touch to find out how.

  • Shire of Broome Function Room, Weld Street

The Shire of Broome has engaged element to develop an Arts and Culture Strategy and Action Plan, which will provide a framework for the Shire’s arts and cultural activity in the next five years.

As part of the development of the Arts and Culture Strategy, we are consulting with the Shire of Broome community to find out your vision for art in the Shire. Artists and creatives living and/or working in the Shire of Broome are a crucial stakeholder group for the Arts and Culture Strategy project, and we are eager to explore your thoughts, experiences, and ideas within an in-depth workshop.

If you can’t, there is another Artists and Creatives session on Thursday 26 May at midday and there will be a number of other opportunities to engage with us, so please get in touch to find out how.
