Community responsibilities - shopping trolleys

The Shire of Broome would like to remind the community to return shopping trolleys to Coles or Woolworths after use, especially with town being much busier than usual currently.

With $29 million spent on the redevelopment of Chinatown over recent years, it is disappointing to see trolleys being abandoned in garden beds, on footpaths and across the precinct.

Both Coles and Woolworths send staff members out regularly to collect trolleys but community members are asked to do the right thing and return them after use.

Members of the public can report an abandoned trolley to Coles by calling 1800 TROLLEY (1800 876 553) or report it to Woolworths at trolleytracker.com.au.
