Reconciliation Week Night Market

The Shire of Broome presents the Broome Night Market at Town Beach. Join us at the Town Beach Markets from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Thursday, June 1, for an afternoon to celebrate National Reconciliation Week.

Alongside the Broome Markets stalls & food vans, the event includes a smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country from Nyamba Buru Yawuru, music by the Family Shoveller Band, and art activities to paint your own silk scarves and keyrings. From 5pm, Nyamba Buru Yawuru & the Shire will jointly sign a Memorandum of Understanding cementing the ongoing relationship between the organisations.
