McMahon Estate Structure Plan draft concepts revealed for comment

The draft McMahon Estate Structure Plan concept plan options are now open for comment.  

Three concept plan options have been prepared using the State Government’s Liveable Neighbourhoods planning framework as well inputs from:

• Recent consultation with the community to understand what is important about the area
• Technical review of the site’s drainage conditions Review of Shire housing needs

All concept plan options aim to balance the community’s desire to retain open space in this area, address the important ecological and drainage corridors through the area and provide opportunities for much needed housing within Broome.

1. Online via a survey between 26 August and 23 September 2024
2. In-person at:

• A Community Workshop at the Shire Offices: Wednesday, August 28,  2024, 4:30-6:30pm at Shire of Broome Administration Centre (corner Weld and Haas Street, Broome). Please click here to register your attendance.
• A Drop in at Boulevard Shopping Centre: Saturday,  August 31, 2024, 10am-1pm
