More than 1,400 community members have provided invaluable feedback on Broome through the 2026 MARKYT® Community Scorecard.
The results show Broome’s liveability score increased from 65 in 2024 to 68 in 2026, with 92 per cent of respondents providing a positive rating of Broome as a place to live.
The Scorecard also highlighted key community priorities, including safety and crime prevention, housing and State marine facilities.
Conducted every two years, the Scorecard helps guide the Shire’s future priorities, service delivery and advocacy on issues requiring support from other levels of government.
