Broome Arts Register

The Shire of Broome has established a register of artists and artsworkers working in or around Broome and invites people to register their details.

During community consultation for the Public Art Master Plan, the opportunity for local artists to be involved in public art projects was discussed. The Shire of Broome has therefore established a database of artists and artsworkers in order to provide:

  • a means of communicating information regarding relevant events and opportunities;
  • information regarding local artists and artsworkers available for projects and commissions; and
  • access to expert advice for Shire projects.

The register is for anyone who is working or interested in the arts as an artist, coordinator or even an audience member or consumer.
