PUBLIC NOTICE 

Proposed 8 Year Review of Local Laws 

 

Pursuant to section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995 the Shire of Broome proposes to commence the 8-year review process to consider if the local laws should be repealed, left as is or amended. The following Local Laws are up for review and community comment on prospective changes is requested: 

  •  

    • Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2012
    • Cemeteries Local Law 2012 
    • Dogs Local Law 2012 
    • Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2012 
    • Standing Orders Local Law 2012 

 

A copy of the Local Laws can be found on the Shire of Broome website at www.broome.wa.gov.au or can be inspected or obtained at the Shire of Broome Administration Office. 

 

Submissions regarding the Local Laws may be made to the Shire prior to 4pm, 15 May 2020.
