Repair & Rewear is a hands-on workshop for all ages that teaches simple, practical skills to help you care for and repair your clothing. Learn how to fix tears, replace buttons, and extend the life of your favourite items while building the confidence to repair instead of replace.
The workshop will explore a range of mending techniques, including visible mending, embroidered repairs and patching.
Bring along a clothing item you'd like to repair or get advice on, and we'll guide you through the process. All materials are provided, including sewing machines supplied by Broome CIRCLE.
By keeping clothes in use for longer, you'll help reduce textile waste, lower your environmental footprint and develop valuable skills you can use for years to come.
