The Shire has engaged an expert team led by Hatch RobertsDay to prepare a business case (including subdivision concepts) for redevelopment of McMahon Oval into an infill residential subdivision. This land development aspires to provide ‘affordable’, ‘aged living’ (+55), ‘key worker’ and ‘market’ housing options.
This project kicked off in November 2020 with initial engagement phase regarding vision and sketch design opportunities held with key stakeholders including. Work has progressed to the stage where concepts have been developed and the business case is in a draft form for review.
We would like to hold engagement with the Broome Community to provide an update on the subdivision design and discuss the process moving forward.
