Construction on Conti-Foreshore Shared Path commences

Construction has commenced on Stage 1 of the Conti-Foreshore Shared Path.

The project will see the formation of a 3m wide shared path connecting the Roebuck Caravan Park / Town Beach foreshore to Matso’s Brewery, providing a safe path network to the Town Beach Precinct.

This infrastructure was jointly funded by the Department of Transport and the Shire of Broome.

Stage 1A is nearing completion and Stage 1B will commence soon, with an anticipated completion date of June 19.

• Stage 1A – Town Beach (Robinson Street – Groyne footpath)
• Stage 1B - Hamersley Street (Seaview shopping complex through to Guy Street)
• Stage 2 – Conti-Foreshore (Guy Street to Matso’s)
