After extensive work by the Shire’s planning team over the last 12 months and longer, a new Local Planning Strategy and Planning Scheme will now be advertised for public comment after Council gave the green light to proceed – watch this space!
The Council endorsed a new Waste Management Strategy, which can be viewed here(PDF, 5MB), along with an associated Action Plan(PDF, 3MB).
A new Behaviour Complaints Committee has been established with an associated management policy also endorsed by Council.
The minutes and recommendations from several committees were endorsed, as was the monthly payment listing and financial activity report for June 2021.
Finally, RFT21-03 for the redevelopment of Streeter’s Jetty was discussed behind closed doors due to the financial nature of the item.
