Road works will commence along a section of Old Broome Road from the beginning of February 2026. Partial and full road closures will occur intermittently between March and July 2026.

The Shire of Broome supports the WA Police Keeping Kids in School campaign.
Local businesses are encouraged to put a Keeping Kids in School poster in their window and refuse service to children during school hours.
Together the community can come together to increase school attendance.
