The Shire of Broome advises that fencing works are now underway at the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre (BRAC) and Father McMahon Oval.
Works will include the installation of temporary fencing, removal of existing fencing, and construction of new perimeter fencing around the sports fields and surrounding facilities.
To minimise disruption, works are being staged to maintain access at all times. During this period:

Temporary pedestrian access points will be in place near the Medland Pavilion and along the oval

Vehicle access will be maintained

All bookings and scheduled activities will continue as normal
Please follow onsite signage and directions while works are in progress.
Fencing upgrades are expected to be completed in April, with car park upgrades scheduled for completion in early 2027.
