The Shire of Broome gives Local Public Notice, pursuant to Section 3.58 (3) of the Local Government Act 1995 of its intention to dispose of property:
Disposition Type: Agreement for Lease with intention to Lease
Landlord: Shire of Broome
Lessee: Munshies Group Pty Ltd
Premise: Lease Area 3, being a building that is proposed to be designed and constructed within Stage 2 of the Walmanyjun Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment. Lease Area 3 is indicatively 46m2 and will be determined by Landlord design and construction works.
Location: Lease Area 3, being a portion of the proposed amalgamated Cable Beach Foreshore (Reserve 36477) Lot 502 on DP433088, Cable Beach Road West, Cable Beach 6726. Landgate Receipt Reference 4206302. Being a portion of the current Local Road Reserve (Cable Beach Road West).
Market Rental Valuation: $29,900 per annum (plus GST)
Consideration: Rent is approximately $29,900 per annum, payable monthly from the Rent - Commencement Date. The Rent is subject to: a rental rate of $650 per m2 of the final Lease Area, Rent Review and Special Termination Clause.
Term: Five (5) years plus one (1) option of a further five (5) years.
Background information: A new operation backed by a locally based operator with extensive experience as a chef and food & beverage manager in Broome’s hospitality industry. Where possible the tenant proposes to sell locally sourced seafood, complemented by hand-cut triple-fried chips and other quality offerings, described as the next level of Fish & Chips.
