As part of the Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment, work to improve infrastructure in the area is being carried out along Cable Beach Road West and Sanctuary Road, which will result in short-term road closures and traffic disruptions

Cable Beach Road West CLOSED between the Sanctuary Road roundabout and Diver's Tavern
Local traffic will be allowed into the area up to the old Crocodile Park from the south (near Diver's Tavern).
PART ROAD CLOSURE: Sanctuary Road and Cable Beach Road West (north toward Cable Beach (Zanders) car park and Cable Beach Club.
Access to/from north of the roundabout to continue subject to traffic control from Sanctuary Road only.
Traffic management and signage will be in place with the provision of appropriate traffic diversions.
