Road works will commence along a section of Old Broome Road from the beginning of February 2026. Partial and full road closures will occur intermittently between March and July 2026. Old Broome Road to fully close on Tuesday, 12 May 2026.
All swimming pools need a Building Permit, and all swimming pools need a barrier fence.
A swimming pool includes a spa, and an above ground temporary pool more than 300mm deep.
If a body of water is not for swimming purposes (e.g. a fish pond), it is not a swimming pool, and does not need a barrier.
All swimming pools will be inspected on a 4-yearly basis.
