From 1 December, the Shire team will be carrying out maintenance at the Guy Street / Hunter street intersection. Traffic management and detours will be in place.
Illegal dumping is the unlawful disposal of waste - ranging from small bags of rubbish in urban areas to large-scale dumping in remote locations like bushland, onto land or into water.
Examples: Mattresses, furniture, household appliances, tyres, boxes, garden waste, construction waste, etc.
If you see it, report it.
If you see someone dumping rubbish or see dumped rubbish let the Shire know by calling 91913456 or email shire@broome.wa.gov.au. All reports will be directed to Rangers that are able to fine offenders if further details are provided:
Don’t dump unusable items at charities - if it’s broken or unhygienic, dispose of it properly to avoid costing them landfill fees.
