New plan to strengthen safety across Broome

The Shire of Broome has formally adopted its new Community Safety Plan at the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on August 28. The Plan was shaped by the community through surveys, engagement stalls, workshops and feedback on the draft strategy, ensuring it reflects local priorities and concerns.

BRAC Dash & Splash Series

31 October 2025

BRAC Dash & Splash is a fun run-swim duathlon held across three events. Choose from a 2km run with 200m swim or a 4km run with 400m swim. Compete solo or in a team, with options for juniors, adults and parent-child duos. Join one event or all three and race for a spot on the leaderboard.

FREE Halloween Outdoor Movie Night

Sunset Sounds Session

09 November 2025

Join us on Sunday, 9 November from 4.30–6pm for a relaxing afternoon of live music with Ziggy and Lucas, performing their signature laid-back tunes by the sea.
Everyone’s welcome - grab a drink from the Surf Club bar or enjoy a bite from Brisket Boys. Seating is limited, so arrive early to enjoy the sunset and sounds.
