Broome Youth Precinct project moves forward to next stage

The Shire of Broome has reached another major milestone in delivering the future Broome Youth Precinct, with remediation works at the BRAC1 site now complete. The successful completion of the remediation phase paves the way for the next stage of the project, with construction of the mountain bike trail now underway. The project is expected to be completed in time for the Term 3 school holidays.

Shire adopts 2026/27 Annual Budget

The Shire of Broome has adopted its 2026/27 Annual Budget at its Ordinary Council Meeting held on Thursday, 25 June 2026, confirming a $41.2 million capital works program and a balanced approach to maintaining essential services while managing increasing costs.
