2024 Extraordinary Council Election

The West Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC) has announced Sean Cooper as the elected member, receiving over 50 per cent of the primary votes. 

The Extraordinary In-Person Election was held on Saturday, 23 March 2024 to fill the following vacancy:

District  1     Councillor    1 year term

A public swearing-in will take place on Monday 25 March at 5pm at the Shire of Broome Administration Building27 Weld Street Broome.
