Commercial Filming in a Public Place
All Commercial Filming in a public place requires an Event Permit application to be completed prior to filming taking place.
When completing the application form it is important to provide as much information as possible. If the filming process will include staging or other equipment then additional information may be required and additional fees may apply.
For all Commercial Filming applications it is very important that all details of the proposed activity, including the organiser contact details and location of where filming will take place are fully completed to ensure that there are no delays in processing your application.
The Shire have developed Event Guidelines to provide you with information on your responsibilities and what is required to process your application.
If the filming includes the use of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Drone / UAS) there are additional approvals that apply. Evidence that these approvals have been obtained will be required, including the license to operate. Please contact Air Services Australia for further information on gaining approval for this type of filming.
