Unless you’re a registered food vendor, you will require a temporary food permit if you’re selling food at your event.

If you are serving food free of charge then a permit is not required, however we ask that you notify us in the event application in the unlikely scenario that a complaint is received. This also includes gold coin donations as it’s not technically being sold.

If a caterer has been hired/paid to supply food, then we need to be notified of the caterer to ensure that they’re a registered food vendor.

An event application fee will be charged at the time of submission of the application online and the fee will range depending on the selected "impact" of the event (i.e. social gathering, low impact, high impact etc.).

Once the application has been received and assessment has commenced, any additional fees will be sent via an invoice to the event organiser.

Further fees could include, but are not limited to, traffic management plan assessment, marking of reticulation, exclusive use hire, inspection fees etc.
